Hwang scores again…8th league goal against Burnley
Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton) scored his eighth goal of the season to lift his team out of a winless streak.
Hwang Hee-chan scored in the 42nd minute of the 15th round of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England, on Saturday (Nov. 6) to give his team a 1-0 win over Burnley.
It was his eighth goal of the season, following a penalty kick goal against visiting Fulham in Round 13.
Hwang’s goal started at the feet of Pablo Sarabia. Sarabia intercepted a ball from the left side of the penalty area and played it to Mateusz Cunha, who was waiting in the middle.
Despite being brought down by two defenders, Cunha found Hwang Hee-chan on the right, who calmly rattled the left post with his right foot. 토토사이트
Burnley failed to add to their lead and Wolverhampton held on for the three points.
Wolverhampton snapped a two-game losing streak and moved into 12th place with 18 points.
Hwang, who was named Man of the Match, is now tied for fourth in EPL scoring behind Elling Holland (Manchester City – 14 goals), Muhammad Salah (Liverpool – 10 goals), and Son Heung-min (Tottenham – 9 goals).
After scoring just three goals and one assist last season, Hwang has added two more assists and 10 offensive points this season, making it his best season since joining the EPL.
