Honam 120mm ‘Huu’ until tomorrow
It’s raining only in some southern parts of the country now, but there’s rain news again tomorrow.
In particular, heavy rain of about 50mm per hour is expected in Honam region between dawn and morning tomorrow.
It will be accompanied by gusts of wind and lightning.
The rain will start to subside tomorrow afternoon and the southern part of the country, and most of it will stop the day after tomorrow morning.
In the meantime, more than 80 millimeters of rain will fall in the metropolitan area.
Heavy rain of more than 120mm is expected in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do.
As there are already many places where the ground is weak, thorough preparation is needed.
As of this morning, heat wave warnings have been issued again on some east coast and Jeju.
In the southern part of the country, where the rain subsides early tomorrow, the heat wave warning is likely to expand further as the temperature rises sharply.
The midday temperature will jump to 30 degrees in Seoul and 32 degrees in Gangneung, and it will be hot.
From dawn to morning tomorrow, there will be thick fog around the central and Gyeongbuk regions.
The visibility will be shorter than 1km, making the field of view stuffy.
Meanwhile, the fifth typhoon, Eagle, is currently passing through the Philippine waters as a strong force.
The Korea Meteorological Administration predicts that Korea will not be directly affected.
As it is expected to be a variable for the end of the rainy season this year, we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
After the rainy season disappears the day after tomorrow, it will rain in Sonakseong Fortress.
