The ‘2024 Big Bird Soccer Festival’ organized by the Suwon World Cup Stadium Management Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) has come to a successful conclusion.
The Big Bird Soccer Festival, held on the 26th at the Suwon World Cup Stadium’s Auxiliary Stadium and Artificial 1 Stadium, was organized and hosted by the foundation and consisted of soccer competitions, events, and experiences.

A total of 60 teams, including 40 youth soccer teams (ages 7 to 13) and 20 women’s soccer clubs, competed in the secondary field.
The artificial field was equipped with a sports box from the Gyeonggi-do Sports Federation and a play box from the Korea Sports Federation for the Disabled, as well as various experience booths and food, including air bounces, soccer challenges, calligraphy, and food trucks, which added to the excitement of the participants.

“We planned the Big Bird Soccer Festival with the hope that it would be a place where all participants could enjoy and unite rather than compete,” said Lee Min-ju, secretary general of the foundation. ”The foundation will continue to carry out various projects to promote soccer in the future.”
