Kim went 0-for-4 at the plate in the fifth spot in the lineup against the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series at Petco Park in San Diego, California, USA, on Wednesday.
His silence marked his third consecutive game without a hit. His season batting average dropped to 0.233 (7-for-30) from 0.269.
