Women’s volleyball Hyundai E&C defeated Pepper Savings Bank to move into second place in the league.
Hyundai E&C won the visiting Pepper Savings Bank 3-0 (25-22 25-18 25-21) in straight sets in the 2023-2024 Dodram V League Women’s Division at Pepper Stadium in Gwangju on Wednesday.
With the three points, Hyundai E&C improved to 20 (6-4) points for the second time in the league, pushing GS Caltex (19-7) to third place.
They are five points behind first-place Heungkuk Life (9-1-1, 25 points).
Hyundai E&C was led by gunner Leticia Moma Basoko (real name Moma) with 21 points.
Yang Hyo-jin added 13 points and Wipawi Sithong (née Wipawi) chipped in with 12 as the trio combined for 46 points.
