South Korean international Son Heung-min (Tottenham) has been recognized as the club’s “Goal of the Month” for September.

“Son Heung-min’s first goal in the North London derby against Arsenal has been selected as the goal of the month for September,”

Tottenham announced on Tuesday (local time) through the club’s official channel.

Tottenham drew 2-2 with Arsenal in the North London derby in the sixth round of the 2023-2024 English Professional Football League (EPL) away from home on March 24.

Son Heung-min equalized in the 42nd minute after trailing 0-1. James Maddison played a sharp pass into the penalty box, and Son

rattled the net with a sensational shot.

The goal was voted as Tottenham’s self-selected Goal of the Month for September by 45% of fans.

Son was instrumental in the team’s draw, scoring again in the 10th minute of the second half with his team trailing 1-2.

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min is currently training at the Paju National Training Center (NFC) during the October A-match break.
