Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker struggled to get a hand to it, but the ball had already crossed the line.
Hwang, who had scored both of his previous league goals with his head, scored his third league goal with his right foot.
Hwang Hee-chan, who finished the 2022-2023 season with his third league goal only in May of this year, has continued his good fortune this season, scoring his third goal already in September.

He also scored a goal against the Reds in the FA Cup last season and made a number of impressive appearances against the Reds in league play, including an own goal.
On this occasion, however, the Reds came from behind to win 3-1.
Wolverhampton led 1-0 at halftime, but Liverpool’s Cody Hackford equalized in the 10th minute of the second half, and Andy Robertson put the game out of reach with a left-footed strike in the 40th minute.
Both of Liverpool’s goals were assisted by Muhammad Salah.
Liverpool added a late Wolverhampton own goal in stoppage time to win 3-1.
With four wins and a draw, the Reds have 13 points, moving ahead of Manchester City (four wins, 12 points) and Tottenham (three wins, one draw, 10 points), who have yet to play a fifth round game.

It’s the fourth-highest rating among the starting 11. Neto, who assisted on Hwang’s goal, had the highest rating at 7.76.
